On the 29th of May 2009, Nawal Al Zoghbi released the single Mona Ainah, which is in the khaliji accent. It began airing on radio stations in the middle east, and was performed first time on the programme Star Academy 6, on the same day.

Nawal Zoghbi was part of the opening of the Atlantis Palm in Dubai. She opened for Kylie Minogue and received a lot press coverage. Many A-List celebrities attended the opening and saw her sing Ennaik Kaddabien, Bienak, and Leih Moushtalak.

Nawal El Zoghby Concert in Syria

The Long awaited concert for Nawal El Zoghby in Syria finally took place in Wady El Nasara. The last time Nawal Zoghbi held a concert in Syria was in the year 2002.

More than 17,000 Syrians and Arabs gathered to watch nawal sing and move on Stage. They cheered and danced and sang along Nawal as she sang for her audience and fans for two hours.

Nawal sang some old songs for her as well as new songs from her Yama Alo Album.
People who attended the concert told us that it was well organized and overall they were happy with the concert and with Nawal songs.

Nawal El Zoghby Helps Support People

As the israeli war on lebanon was escalating in july 2006 and while singers from Lebanon and the Arab world were rushing out of Lebanon or rushing into recording studios to prepare patriotic songs for Lebanon, Nawal was rushing somewhere else.

Nawal who refused to leave Lebanon, knowing that she has a Canadian passport, was the first Arab singer to send out a cry of help to her fellow singers and artists to support the helpless and displaced in Lebanon.

Nawal El Zoghby started by visiting few schools in Lebanon, in Zalka and Jal El Deeb, where families took refuge from the south of Lebanon and the Dahieh.

Nawal El Zoghby with the full support of her fanclub members started a Help Lebanon Campaign to support the victims and displaced.

The campaign aims at reaching out to all those helpless people dwelling schools and parks in Lebanon, providing them with food and medicine.

Help Lebanon campaign also aims at collecting donations to help all the victims of this horrible attack on Lebanon in order to get them back on their feet and in their homes.

Nawal herself, participated through donations and personal visits to schools many times.

Nawal truly believes that patriotic songs and charity concerts can be done after the war is over.

After spreading a computer virus in her latest videoclips, nawal el zoghby is now spreading something else.

This time she is spreading a human feeling, a personal touch, her own way of telling Lebanon and the Lebanese… I love you

A new video clip of Lebanese singer Nawal El Zoghby for the song Yama Alou was released late 2006.

The video clip story-board runs around nawal getting into trouble with the lebanese security forces, Nawal plays the role of a computer hacker, She spreads a virus into the control panels of electronic screen boards in the beirut streets, and sends the same virus from her phone to the mobile phone networks accross the country.

The viewers of the song, liked it so much to the extent that they all gather to defend her from the police who tries to arrest her for her crime.

The video clip was directed by famous videoclip director, Randa El Alam. This is her second collaboration after their latest video Shou Akhbarak.

The Yama Alou videoclip was shot in two days around the mid of june 2006 with famous director Randa El Alam.

It is expected that the album will finally be released on the 17th of July 2006 by Alam El Fann record company.

The upcoming work is Nawal’s 12th album and will also contain 12 songs.

Ten songs from the new album are brand new, in addition to two old singles: Rohy Ya Rohy, released last summer and Shu Akhbarak, released at the beginning of the this year.

Habibati Man Takoon will be a bonus track on the new CD and shall not be released on the cassette version of the album.

During her last visit to Egypt, Nawal met with producer Mohsen Gaber and discuessed her new album marketing plans, which started in Egypt through Mazzika TV, in addition to huge outdoor posters in the streets of Beirut and Cairo.
